Jeffrey K. Miner
Jeff Miner is the President of Spiral Solutions and Technologies, Inc. where he oversees the strategic direction and daily operations of the Nebraska-based SDVOSB company. Spiral’s major operating locations are Omaha Nebraska, Ogden Utah and Lexington Kentucky. Additionally Spiral operates in over 30 states, has a full-time presence in three foreign countries and provides periodic support in 45 additional countries.
Prior to joining Spiral Solutions, Jeff served for more than 26 years on active duty in the United States Air Force. He was a Master Navigator/Electronic Warfare Officer who flew both the B-52 and RC-135 aircraft. His military service included squadron and group command, as well as staff assignments at The Joint Staff; U.S. Strategic Command's Joint Functional Component Command for Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance; and the National Security Agency (NSA). He also served as the acting U.S. Cyber Command liaison to U.S. Africa Command during his tour with NSA.
Jeff earned a Master of Strategic Studies from the USAF's Air War College and a Master of Aeronautical Science from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Additionally he has a Bachelor of Science from the Ohio Institute of Technology and is also a graduate of the USAF's Air Command and Staff College.
Mrs. Nancy Dashner provides Executive Administrative Support to the CEO and President of Spiral Solutions and Technologies, Inc. In this role, she manages executive calendars and schedules, organizes complex activities, and works as project manager of special projects for the CEO and President. Additionally, as an experienced professional, she assists the Information Technology, Operations, Business Development, Travel, and Human Resources Departments in their resolution of a wide range of issues in creative ways. Mrs. Dashner is the first voice of Spiral Solutions, greeting you when you call our main office line.
Mrs. Dashner is a highly experienced former professional educator with over 30 years in the Glenwood Community School District. She has served as the Director of Technology, Instructional Technology Coordinator, Middle School Technology teacher, and Lower Elementary teacher. Nancy holds a Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Iowa.
Karen is the Director of Contracts for Spiral Solutions and Technologies, Inc. She is responsible for managing all facets of contract awards and administration. This includes review and evaluation of Government and contractor Requests for Proposal (RFPs), preparation of proposal documents, and price negotiation. In addition, she works with all of our subcontractors to prepare subcontract RFPs and Requests for Quote (RFQs), analyze and evaluate proposals, negotiate subcontract provisions, write awards, and administer resulting subcontracts. Karen also advises on interpretation of and compliance with the Federal Acquisition Regulations and submission of agency-specific contract reports. She is the Spiral point of contact for both nondisclosure and teaming agreements.
Prior to joining SS&T in 2004, Karen worked for 17 years in the 3908th and 55th Contracting Squadrons at Offutt AFB, handling all phases of the acquisition cycle for complex services and supply items. She prepared, negotiated, and administered various contracts types, both fixed-price and cost.
Karen is working toward a Masters of Business Administration at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln.
Facility Security Officer (FSO)
Jim “Bake” Baker is the Facility Security Officer for Spiral Solutions and Technologies, Inc. Bake serves as the principle advisor concerning the safeguarding of classified information; industrial, personnel and facility security clearances; and ensures operational oversight of the company’s compliance with the National Industrial Security Program and other security program policies and directives. Bake is also the Health and Safety Officer. He ensures implementation of Occupational Health and Safety policies and directives while promoting health, and safety awareness at all levels within the workplace.
Bake retired from the Air Force after 26 years of active service. Prior to working at Spiral Solutions, Bake worked as the Special Security Officer for two Major Commands and the 55th Wing, Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska and Information Management at various US and worldwide bases.
Bake earned a Master of Science in Justice Administration and Crime Management and Bachelor of Science in Information Systems Management from Bellevue University, and an Associates degree in Information Management from Community College of the Air Force.

Director, Operations Support
Rich Jost is the Operations Support Director for Spiral Solutions and Technologies, Inc. He works closely with all of our Program Managers to ensure each of our customers receives Spiral’s very best.
Upon his retirement from the US Air Force, Rich began his second career with Spiral as a Senior Analyst working at USSTRATCOM on a technology demonstration where he quickly became the project’s spokesperson. Since then, Rich has worked several other USSTRATCOM tasks along with varying programs for Spiral. During his twenty-five years in the Air Force, he flew all RC-135 variants dating back to the M model. Serving as the COBRA BALL squadron’s Operations Officer helped prepare him for the myriad of tasks facing government contractors.
Rich earned a Master of Science in Justice Administration and Crime Management from Bellevue University and a Master of Science in Organizational Business Management from the University of La Verne and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Bentley College.
